The Olde Charleston Collection
The Olde Charleston Collection – Ua Floors' widest, longest, boldest products, all with something special -- the industrial history of our True Reclaimed Heart Pine, the Natural Disaster history of our Wormy Chestnut, the nostalgic history of our American classics --- Black Walnut, American Cherry, Hard Maple, Red Oak, and Hickory in unique colors and treatments. Nothing fake, nothing artificial. No handscraping or distressing. What you see are the character marks Mother Nature herself provided.
Or, in the case of our True Reclaimed Heart Pine, what you see are the marks of heavy use over many years in a textile factory. Whether reclaimed wood, like our heart pine, or new timber, like our other classics, you will find that no two planks and no two floors will look alike. Each is as unique and distinct as Nature can give.
Olde Charleston Genuine Teak is made from the true Teak. Teak has been prized for centuries for its stableness and for outside use, such as houses, decks, and boat building. Teak is slightly softer than Red Oak, but it's earth toned colors hide many dings and scratches that would be obvious in other woods.Fresh out of the box , Teak can have a wide vbariety of colors including beige, green, pink and brown but oer time and with exposure to light will turn a beautiful, uniform golden brown. We lnclude knots, sapwood (lighter colored outer part of the tree) and other natural character marks that are seldom seen in other Teak floors. Genuine Teak flooring is rarely available in solid from anymore because of its price, so we are proud to offer it in an engineered form, with all the glory of its character makrs lncluded for you to show off to friends and family.
