Whether reclaimed wood, like our heart pine, or new timber, like our other classics, you will find that no two planks and no two floors will look alike. Each is as unique and distinct as Nature can give.
Olde Charleston True Reclaimed Heart Pine is made from timbers we have salvatged from old industrial buildings in trhe US, mostly textile mills built a hundred fifty years ago. Your floor, fresh out of the box, already has more than a century of history! True Reclaimed Heart Pine features gorgeous , tight grain patterns as weel as knots, cracks, nail holes, insect scarring, holes through wihch pipes and wiring housed in the old buildings from which it was reclaimed. While known as one of the harder pines around, the character marks we include help hide any denting making for a floor that is ageless.
